Pig Manure Fermentation Plant – Encon

For Encon I developed the controls, grid connection and concept for the cabinets of their fermentation plant. Red-Fox helped out with detailing and manufacturing of the cabinets and connecting all major components on-site.

Encon had already designed the plant but did not have the in-house knowledge at that time to automate and run the plant.

Together with Encon I converted their processes into software for 24/7 production and helped optimizing the design.

The plant ferments manure to create natural gas. A CHP generator delivers electric energy and heat from the gas.
