Remote Safety River Maas – Siemens

For Siemens I developed a dynamic safety stop for the water height control elements in the river Maas. The controls were centralized over past years, but emergency systems were still locally controlled.

A networked solution of over 20 Safety PLC’s is now communicating local and central status and commands along the river. Based on need an operator can activate emergency buttons for desired locations.
