Vertical Wind Turbine Control – WHI

For Wind Harvest International I redid the complete control of their vertical turbine based on a Siemens PLC. Their original control was written in a microcontroller, but unfortunately undocumented. The new control was setup to enable easier maintenance and scalability.

The idea of the turbine is to harvest all energy left between large scale turbines.
